THE DETERGENT THAT SIMPLIFIED LAUNDRY
The All laundry detergent brand was started by the Unilever company in 1959. At the time of its release it was especially popular because it was a ready to use powder when a lot of detergents needed two solutions mixed together. All was also made for all fabrics, many detergents were specifically made for color or white clothing. All detergent worked well in washing machines that were becoming more and more popular when it was released and throughout the 80s they changed to formula to be liquid.
LEADING THE LAUNDRY INDUSTRY
In 1987 All laundry detergent made history as the first major detergent brand to develop a formula with no dyes or added fragrance. All free clear quickly became one of the first widely recognized hypoallergenic laundry detergents and was later recommended by dermatologists, allergists, and pediatricians for sensitive skin. Later in 2008 the All brand was sold to The Sun Products Corporation along with Snuggle and Whisk detergent. Throughout the 2010s All continued to release new products like the All Mighty Pacs, a single use detergent packet as well as fabric softeners, and dryer sheets. The All brand is still a leading detergent brand today and is sold worldwide, known for its innovation in clean and clear detergent.
