MR. BUBBLE

THE BUBBLE BATH ICON

Mr. Bubble was created in 1961 by entrepreneur Harold Schafer in North Dakota and originally introduced as a bubblegum-scented powder sold in local grocery stores for 59 cents, later reduced to 39 cents. It was produced under Schafer’s company, The Gold Seal Company, before changing ownership multiple times over the years and becoming one of the most widely recognized bubble bath brands in the United States.

THE BRAND THAT
CHANGED BATHTIME

At the time there was nothing like Mr. Bubble Mr. Bubble and bathetime was simply about hygiene. It was primarily marketed to children and families as a way to make bathtime  fun and exciting. The advertising campaigns featured its bright pink character and upbeat, cheerful songs, while also reassuring parents that it would not leave a stubborn soap residue in the bathtub. Over time Mr. Bubble has become the #1 bubble bath products in the United States.
